Sneak Peak: Grid-based ship


After few hours of playing around I can share with you my current progress. 

So, basic idea of grid based room is half way there (well, maybe more like 33% there) - i've prepared visual of basic room & derived all room types from it (weapon/engine etc). Each room type will use different light to make distinguishing them even easier.

Items in each room type are mostly placeholders and will be updated later, but it's not my top priority atm., as implementing underlying logic (in form of room mount spaces) is. My local build currently uses previous room system to work on new visuals - it could be shared with you, but I've already made few changes, so I'm sorry....

As I can see, GUI should be also upgraded, so I'll probably change it's background for now.
I guess camera system will be also remade or at least tweaked - current system of 2 ships at once might be a bit confusing.
